PlanetOut reader and Gay.com member James wrote to us asking for some travel advice. He said he was taking on a massive, three month road trip on August 1st, and he wanted suggestions on what to do and where to go from other readers. 

The outline of his roadtrip sounded pretty awesome.   His email was so specific, we repurposed most of it below so you can get a clearer idea of where he'll be, and the things he's looking for your input on:

"Next spring we’re going to be flying into Rome, spending four days there before taking the train to Florence for a day and then on to Venice for 3 days.  We’re looking for nice but not too expensive places to stay in all three cities.  Since we don’t know where to go we’re open to any suggestions on neighborhoods."

"I've never been in Orlando before (or Florida, for that matter), so I'd like to know if there's a "gayborhood" or a district that's more gay-friendly. I'm staying at the Marriott World Center Resort down by Epcot Center. I'll be in Orlando from Oct. 12 through Oct. 17.
