The last vacation I took was on a cruise to Mexico - loved every minute of it! There's nothing like being on the open water, staring at the ocean and the sky - and having tons of time to do absolutely nothing but relax. I have always wanted to do a Mediterranean cruise and visit the Greek Isles as I am adopted and believe that my heritage is from that part of the world.

I've always desired the sophistication, the handling, cabin quality and design of European cars. I think the subtle sensibility combined with a bold look reflects my personality a great deal.

I've been on many road trips with it. I enjoy driving up to Toronto with it, especially. It's a nice 9 to 10 hour drive from suburban Chicago. With my CDs or Siruis radio cranking, a good road trip is like a form of meditation.

I love how about 75% of the people are use to the whole gay thing and could care less. Gay people can be open with there relationships and show PDA.

The Executive model was introduced in March of 1956. It was the last new model from Packard Motors of Detroit. The Packard plant closed down forever on June 16th of that year. This car was made within a few weeks of that closing.

Packard had bought Studebaker in 1954 and moved all operations to South Bend in the summer of 1956. However those cars were essentially Studebakers with more trim. So this car can be considered as one of the very last Packards produced.

This beautiful two door hardtop glistens' with Turquoise and White, (the most favorite colors of the fifties). I believe the car was restored in 1998 with a basecoat/clear coat finish. The interior looks like new. The chrome is as smooth and as bright as the day she left the factory.

What is the best date you ever had in this town? Why?

I had a great date at Cafe' Ole, this Spanish restaurant with nice ambient lighting and a very intimate setting. We then went to the beach and then to Paradise for a drink. It was such a magical evening because of the company I was with.

What are some of the things you love most about your city/town?

I love Asbury Park because of the artistic flair and the diversity it offers. It is extremely gay friendly and you can just be yourself. It offers a great music scene which is where I started out in the early years and continues to offer high standards of contemporary art.

In my own opinion, anywhere. I don't believe in "sanctioned" make-out places. This world is ours as much as it is anybody else's.

Washington, DC - right across the river. I actually don't go into the city as much as I used to. For a while, it started to seem like all the gay bars there were the same, so my boyfriend and I stopped going as much and started going to a local gay haunt in Crystal City called "Freddie's". However, in the past few months we've started go back into the city more often.

A really great thing Spartanburg offers is that it is so close to Atlanta (2 hours), Charlotte (1.5 hours), Columbia (1.5 hours), and Asheville-NC (dubbed "San Francisco of the East"). Out of the four, I try to get to Asheville at least four times a year to go record shopping or catch touring bands.

How "out" are you where you live?

Completely, but I'm also pretty butch (even my hetero-male friends think so!), so my "out" status is sort of nullified.

LET'S GO OUT!

Club 33

Call it trendy, industrial or upscale - it all leads to McAllen's newest alternative hotspot, Club 33 (located at 3300 N. McColl Road, McAllen), Club 33 boasts an elevated bass-response dance floor in the center of the first floor, a second floor terrace, 6 bars, something close to twenty 70-inch flat screens TV's, plenty of seating on both floors and a VIP area. The clientele is across the spectrum but seems to lean toward those looking to dress up a little for a night on the town. Wait-staff is friendly, the bar allows you to run tabs and cash out at the end of the night, lines go fairly fast and parking is safe, well-lit and plentiful in the McAllen District. 33 is hopping on Friday's but be there by 11:30 or you might be standing in a line to get in; if you get there between 9-10pm Wednesday thru Saturday there are drink specials to be had. Club 33 is a good time, with excellent lighting, awesome DJ's, good light shows and a clean/new environment we hope turns a trend in nightlife for the RGV. Step up, dress up and spin it right round - 33 is the newest place in town!
