Where is the best public place for a gay person to make out in Amman?

That is a funny and so hard to answer kind of a Q! in Jordan it's very hard to make out, though it's easy to show DPF, like hand holding, touching… but making out, mmm, not sure though, if you have a car maybe though hehe. I once made out with this guy that I dated few years ago under this bridge, he was like "I need to experience something with you, let's make out here" and I was like mmm ok! It was exciting!

What is the best date you ever had in Amman?  Why? 

I never had that experience of the 'perfect date' yet, but I might've if I gathered all the ones I went through. I remember this guy that I went out with like a year ago, we went for this veggie sank, we walked to the ice cream shop then we sat on a side walk in a calm street under the street light. I knew the kinds of questions to ask, which led him to tear a little… a hug was made to be and holding his hand was just intense. It was a nice memory at a nice time…

I love that you can get anything you want at anytime. If you want to buy a dozen roses, you want ice cream , a falafel sandwich or a hooker. New York has it all 24/7. I remember where I came from in Massachusetts and how growing up we had to get to the store by 9pm when it closed if we had to buy something. I try to never take for granted what the city that never sleeps has to offer me.

I've always felt that new york gives you access to everything you need to make your dreams come true. you just have to stay on top of it.

My town is backwoods. You can make out virtually anywhere and no one would see you: the woods, the river, in the middle of a field. It's your choice.

What's the nearest city to "let loose" in, and on what occasion do you go there?

Poplar Bluff, MO. The population is only like 16,000, but surprisingly, there are two gay bars there. You have to go there in order to exist to the outside world. If you need Walmart, that's the place to go.

La Traviata

La Traviata (301 Cedar Ave., L.B.) was designed in the nineteenth century opera style and hosts an extensive lesbian clientele. The restaurant is described as Nouveau Italian and the entrees are delicious. Wine and dine a date here and enjoy the wonderful ambience, live entertainment, and entrees that will delight all of your senses. Although it is Italian and there are plenty of great pastas that satisfy, you can still watch your figure here. My favorite meals that don't hurt the waistline are the avocado tuna tartar and the Chilean sea bass. Delizioso!

Meow Mix (August 2)

A monthly, cabaret-style event for bent girls and their buddies, Meow Mix is known as "the" Montreal dyke event. Usually starting around 10pm, the evening always kicks off with a show (often a burlesque or drag king act), and then things heat up with a sweaty lesbian dance party. This month features Rollerderby girls, a Nina Simone tribute, a stand-up comedian and more. A guy took me on a midnight helicopter ride around Manhattan. We got pretty close to the buildings. It was pretty amazing to fly around the Statue of Liberty. I wonder what happened to him. He probably crashed.

What are some of the things you love most about your city/town?

I love that you can get anything you want delivered to your door at anytime. I can get a hooker, a bamboo plant and a diet coke all at 2 AM. Then I can make that hooker water the bamboo while I drink my diet coke. Good times.

I also love the subway. Manhattan is so compact that you can get anywhere in the city on the subway in less than an hour. Plus you can sit next to a crack whore and a supermodel in the same ride. It's a great equalizer.

Where is the best public place for a gay person to make out there (or isn't there one)?

There is a park recreation area down by the river on the other side of the main bridge. It has a view of the town and the river. Its nice actually at night with the city lit up. I would not recommend making out in public because there is small town minds in Ottawa. Some may frown and others don't care.

What's the nearest city to "let loose" in, and on what occasion do you go there?

Bloomington, IL. There are a couple gay bars featured there and I usually let loose on the weekends down there on no special occasion.
