Mobile Boy: Scott + Florida

Scottfurman_250 Gay.com member Scott wrote to us for some travel advice. He said he was headed to Florida for a monthlong vacation and wanted some tips on local hot spots.

We thought we'd open it up to you, the readers.

Scott will be visiting Fort Lauderdale, Key West and St. Petersburg. He says he's looking for clubs, beaches, "mellow" restaurants, comfortable cafes and, last but not least, "any whiskey bars" Florida has to offer.

So if you're a Florida local and you have suggestions for Scott, post them on the comments section below.

Also -- if you're heading someplace and want tips from locals like Scott does, just send us an email to tips@gay.com with "Where I'm going" in the subject line. Tell us briefly where you're going and we may feature you on the Gay.com homepage. Don't forget to include your Gay.com member name.

I was reading you're blog on South Florida and noticed you were discussing things to do in the area. Check out www.bestweekends.com for some new info.

Going to be in Orlando from The 17th of October until the 29th. Any good clubs, nightlife, fun things to do other than Disney?

Anyone knows a truly good mobile gay guide to recommend?

dave and I have been thinking about dave going mobile. How do I push him in the right direction?
